About Mona Lundin

Research interests
My research concerns learning and knowledge in professional activities. In my dissertation project (funded by LearnIT in collaboration with the Knowledge Foundation), “New Web-based Educational Environments as Contexts for Interaction and Learning for Professionals,” the focus is on how professionals participate in and make use of Web-based educational platforms designed to facilitate various types of continuing education and professional development efforts. The main point is to analyse activities being developed in these new contexts for learning. What learning and discourse cultures are being established in these contexts?

Teaching interests
Teaching in the Programme for Human Resources regarding questions of communication as a theoretical and analytical concept. I am also interested in methodology, specifically the analysis of interviews and conversational data, as well as educational psychology, where my particular interest is adult learning and development.
